Music from northeastern Brazil has numerous structures including
frevo, maracatú, baião and forró, yet all are impacted by Portuguese society
tunes. The rhythms are solid however moderate and the beat regularly originates
from the accordion or guitar. Verses are sung in a gravelly, nasal nordestino

Forró is the most well known assortment and is
accordion-driven with a hearty and excited sound. Luiz Gonzaga is viewed as the
